0.5 increment sprockets are designed to give you the edge where it matters most, precision.
Manufactured from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminium, these sprockets offer an exceptional balance of strength, lightweight performance, and wear resistance, making them ideal for competitive karting.
The introduction of 0.5 increments allows drivers and teams to fine-tune their gearing with far greater accuracy than full-tooth options. By adjusting the rear sprocket in half-tooth steps while maintaining the same front sprocket, you can dial in better acceleration or top-end speed to match track conditions and engine performance without over-gearing or under-gearing the kart.
If you're serious about performance, micro-adjustments matter and the 0.5 sprocket gives you the flexibility to push the limit.

Why half-tooth steps are different
Half-tooth increments let you fine-tune final drive ratio when a full tooth is too aggressive.
They preserve the kart's balance while keeping the engine in its optimal RPM range.
Go +0.5
Shorter gearing
- Flat or lazy off slow corners
- RPM drops below the power band on exit
- Losing ground in the first phase after apex
Go −0.5
Longer gearing
- Touching limiter too early on the straight
- Engine feels busy without gaining speed
- Struggling to hold RPM at the end of the straight
Rule of thumb
If you're only slightly out, change 0.5.
If the kart is clearly wrong everywhere, change a full tooth.
